JAMIE A. MOODY

Jamie A. Moody, 56, died Sunday evening, October 28, 2018 at The Lighthouse at Ishpeming Health & Rehabilitation Center while under the care of Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice. 

Jamie was born on January 28, 1962 in Traverse City, MI to the late James and Martha (Nevalainen) Moody. She was raised in National Mine, graduated from Westwood High School and attended college in Minnesota.

Jamie loved to needlework, beadwork, crochet and sew. She had a very big heart and enjoyed helping people out. Jamie worked various jobs throughout her life.

She is survived by her significant other, Greg Davis; a daughter, Samantha McCarthy; a sister, Peggy Moody-Dietrich; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Jamie will be held at a later date.
