WILLIAM A. VALLAR

William Albert Vallar, 63, of Ishpeming, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home. 

He was born March 3, 1956 in Marquette, a son of the late Albert A. and Mary E. (Znorski) Vallar.  He was a 1974 graduate of Marquette Senior High School, earned an Associate’s degree from NMU and was a lifelong area resident.

William worked as a custodian for various local companies through the years.

He is survived by his siblings, David H. (Ada) Vallar of Marquette, Martha Vallar of Myrtle Beach, SC and Gerard Vallar of Gwinn; sister-in-law, Mary Vallar of Gwinn; nieces & nephews, Bethany Vallar of Marquette, Davey Smith, Peggy Rackley of Conway, SC, Darcia (Bill) Schooler of Vulcan, MI, Bradlee Koski of Negaunee, Nathaniel (Jessica) Koski of Colorado and Lyam Schooler of Vulcan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant siblings.

A Celebration of William’s Life will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from Noon to 4 pm at the Presque Isle Gazebo.
