JAMES N. BUNTING

James Neil Bunting, 79, of Republic, died Tuesday morning, August 7, 2018 at his home, surrounded by family and under the care of UP Home Health & Hospice.

Jim was born August 19, 1938 in Pasadena, California, a son of the late Milton and Bernadine (Griffin) Bunting.  On November 22, 1972 he married Vicki Ballinger of Lombard, Illinois.

He worked as a tool & die operator in manufacturing and was a US Army veteran.

Jim is survived by his wife, Vicki; 5 children and their spouses; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 3 to 6 pm at Canale & Pennock Funeral Service in Ishpeming.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 6 pm.
