Arthur L. Cole

Arthur L. Cole, 80, of Ishpeming, passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, April 17, 2016, at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans where he had resided for the past two years.

He was born August 26, 1935 in Stoneham, MA, a son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Sweet) Cole, Sr.

Art Service in the USAF for 20 years, retiring as an inventory management supervisor in 1977 from the KI Sawyer AFB in Gwinn.  He was a Vietnam veteran and completed three tours of duty.

Following his retirement, Art and his wife, Ellen resided in Little Lake and Ishpeming.  He was a member of the Ishpeming VFW and Played in the Ishpeming cribbage league for years.

Art was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ellen in 1994; infant daughter, Mildred in 1961; and two sisters.

There will be no services at this time.  Interment will take place in the Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham, Massachuessets.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans Activity Fund, 425 Fisher Street, Marquette, MI 49855.
